"An interior should tell a story," he said.

Ron Zaal, owner of Interfurn, talks passionately about the family business started by his father more than 35 years ago. His mother also worked in the business, and after finishing school, Ron started as a sales representative. He eventually took over the business, which focused primarily on furniture agency. About ten years ago they acquired the company Hoes and De Winter, a company dating back to 1812, six generations old and specializing in exclusive fabrics. This acquisition was a wonderful addition to Interfurn's collection. Today, Interfurn represents an extensive interior package of furniture, fabrics and related items, art and the paint and wallpaper brand Farrow & Ball. Farrow & Ball is unique because of the texture and reflection of the paint, which refracts light in a special way.

Ron describes his own style as eclectic. He likes a quality combination of interior products with an antique element, complemented with a modern nod and always combined with art. For Ron, an interior should tell a story. He believes that not everything has to be new; just a piece of art bought during a vacation or something old from grandma and grandpa can tell a story within the interior. Combined with stylish and warm furnishings, this creates an interior that falls around you like a blanket.
