Chantal Soetens, born in 1971, studied Economics at UVA and began her career in 1994 at interior store Ambiance Home Decoration in Laren. At Brugman, agent of prestigious fabric houses such as Lelievre, Pierre Frey and Jim Thompson, she learned the intricacies of the Dutch interior design industry. Since 2004, she has focused entirely on interior design and at Ambiance Home Decoration she brings her unique vision and flavor to her advice.

During an inspiration trip to Marrakech, Chantal met the talented designer Ismail Mouahid, known for his beautiful Berber rugs. Together with her sister Nathalie Soetens, who has been working as an independent designer since 1996, she decided to take up the adventure and create an exceptional collection for the Dutch market. Specializing in total visual concepts and corporate identity, Nathalie has helped numerous organizations with creative concepts and advertising campaigns.
