ANKE VAN GOOR

"I see myself as the extension of the interior designer."

Anke van Goor started in the fabric business almost twenty years ago and in 2013 started her own company, located in the ETC. This is the place for inspiration, with trade fairs such as Chelsea Harbour Design Centre, Paris Déco Off and Decorex, and presentations of new collections of her brands. Anke focuses on beautiful materials and quality over trends, because an interior lasts longer than a year.

Her favorite designers are Lorenzo Castillo, known for his eclectic mix of classic and modern for Gaston y Daniela, and Bruno Triplet, who creates minimalist, artisanal fabrics with natural materials. Anke chose ETC. because it is the place in the Netherlands to collaborate with nearly a hundred companies, creating a central hub for Dutch designers and decorators.

Over the years, Anke saw the industry change. She went from presenting new collections to stores to helping interior designers in the showroom. Anke describes herself as a "computer" full of fabrics and colors, ready to complete interior designs. She believes the future of interior designers will focus more on flexible workplaces and the importance of a strong online presence and visibility at trade shows and events.

For Anke, working with stylists and architects starts with asking a lot of questions to fully understand the situation and needs. She gives advice on fabrics, their composition and how best to make them up. She also refers clients to reliable studios and upholsterers if she does not have the right product herself.

We cordially invite you to admire the inspiring collections of Anke van Goor at the ETC. Be inspired by the special designs and receive appropriate advice for any interior. See you at Anke van Goor!
